Some sneaky leprechauns came to our house on St. Patty's day and turned our milk green, spilled all the green jelly beans, messed up West's toys, tied his shoes up on the towel rack, left glitter and footprints and used green ribbon to climb to the doorknobs to hide his chocolate gold coins. I got the idea from a friend and now West calls everyone a sneaky little leprechaun.

Here is a smiley baby. Trace is so so happy and have I mentioned how cuddly he is?? He snuggles with us and coos. I have been reading Baby Wise and trying that method. However, I was being really flexible with it because Trace seemed to do it on his own up until last week. I could not get him to fall asleep and stay asleep unless he was being held. So Monday I started being strict about it and it seems to have made all the difference in his naps. We'll see if it actually makes him sleep through the night by 7-9 weeks as promised, but as of right now he sleeps about 4 hours, then wakes, then sleeps about 3.5 hours through the night. Not too bad, but somehow I am still exhausted.
We have come to the conclusion that Weston has my looks and Mausser personality and Trace has Mausser looks and my personality. My mom and I were talking about good, happy, and snuggly he is and she said that is how I was as a baby so I have my karma baby :)

Such cute boys. They look like brothers but certainly have their own looks. I was just brushing up on my baby wise this morning! Tessa was sleeping through the night and 2 weeks ago stopped. :0( With David I swore by it because he was sleeping through the night at 7 weeks. I did the same with Tessa but it took her 3 months. I've decided it isn't as fail-proof as it claims. Hopefully it gives you success.
Your boys are so cute! And I love the sneaky leprechaun idea!
I did Baby Wise with my first 2 worked like a charm. They both slept through the night at 6 weeks. My 3rd, there was no need, her schedule was good enough for me and with 3 I couldnt watch the clock like I did with my other two. His sleeping patterns sound great! You're still exhausted because your body is still healing and you have a 2 kids on your hands! Beautiful family!!
Congrats on the new baby!! He is so cute-both of them are adorable! Sounds like you are liking Albuquerque-Perry and I will have to give you a call when we head that way!
Congrats on your sweet baby. Wow, he is a cutie.
I was just catching up on your blog and I can't believe how busy you have been with doctors apts for Weston, having a baby, moving, and more doctors apts. You are amazing!
In response to your comment on my blog- Have at the name Shaffer. We love it! =)
I hope all is going well in New Mexico. You have me nearly convinced that I want to move there so that I can see the sun too. Josh and I have been talking about where we want to go after school. We desperately want to see the sun more, but we don't want the AZ heat, and California is way too expensive. I'll have to mention Albuquerque.
